Farming With Maximized Sustainability

My goal is to help farmers achieve maximum sustainable quality and production with reasonable economic inputs.

I take a long view of soil and plant health. The availability of nutrients to the plant is critical when making fertility decisions. Soil compaction, chemistry and microbiology of the soil, as well as water quality and management are important considerations.

After years working in agriculture in various capacities with many different crops (see about section), my approach is sometimes “out of the box” or “not the same as the neighbors”. I will recommend old methods or ideas where they have validity, and utilize new cutting edge ideas and technologies as well. On my own farm, I continually try to improve on my, and the neighbor's, current practices.
